13th Arab-Greek Economic Forum
The “13th Arab-Greek Economic Forum” will be held under the auspices of the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development on November 27-28, 2024, in Athens, Greece, marking the 45th anniversary of the Chamber’s establishment. Over the years, the Chamber has played a prominent role in opening communication channels between businesspeople from the Arab world and Greece, contributing to the enhancement of trade and investment between the two sides.
The 13th edition of the forum will focus on vital sectors such as energy, construction, and sustainability, with particular attention to topics related to renewable energy, alternatives to traditional energy, electricity interconnection projects between Greece and the Arab world, as well as investment opportunities in infrastructure and engineering fields. The forum will also address the importance of innovation in building smart cities and green projects.
The forum will witness the participation of numerous senior officials and business leaders from various Arab countries and Greece, providing a valuable platform for cooperation and experience exchange. The event will also include cultural activities and celebratory presentations, along with a gala dinner.
The forum is seen as a unique opportunity to strengthen economic and cultural ties between Greece and Arab countries, exchange investment and technological opportunities in various fields, contributing to sustainable development and economic growth on both sides. It will feature a broad Arab participation from private sector businesspeople and active Greek attendance.
The event also saw the participation of Middle East Business Magazine represented by Editor-in-Chief Amal Diraghmeh Masri. The conference was attended by many businessmen and businesswomen, as well as ambassadors from several Arab countries, including Dr. Yusuf Darraghmeh, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Greece, and Ambassador Mustafa Barghouti, representing the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
