IMC EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2017 – BAHRAIN & KSA CHAPTER

The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Mayas Al Agha, Director, and Registration of Ship & Seamen Affairs - Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications The International Conference on Marine/Offshore/Oil & Gas industry was organized to provide the right platform to exchange information, showcase the latest technical innovations, explore collaborations, highlight business opportunities and take stock of trends and issues at the heart of future strategies. Besides the much-appreciated conference, industry veterans who have been instrumental in proposing creative solutions were honored for their accomplishments with IMC Excellence Awards 2017 – Bahrain & KSA chapter. The prestigious Lifetime achievement award for creative contributions of outstanding significance to the maritime industry in the field of Maritime Services and Entrepreneurship was bestowed upon Mr. Jerzy Romanski, Senior Principal Surveyor in Charge, ABS, Bahrain And Mr. Jaber Al Sulaiti, Managing Director, Sulaiti Marine Services respectively. IMC Golden Excellence Award for Best Repair Yard was presented to Bahrain Ship Repair and Engineering Company (BASREC); Award for Best Service Provider- Offshore was presented to Jana Marine Services Company; Award for Best Innovative Project was bestowed upon AL Hassanain CO.; Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard (ASRY) was presented with Award for Best Offshore Yard; Award for Tanker Operator of the Year was bestowed upon Kuwait Oil Tanker Company (KOTC); Best Ship Agency was presented to Gulf Agency Company Saudi Arabia (GAC Saudi); Zelma Marine  was named the Rising Star – Organization. Excellence in Professional Services was bestowed upon Mr. Mayas Al Agha, Director, and Registration of Ship & Seamen Affairs - Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications; Capt. Abdulla Al Merbati, Acting CEO, Southern Tourism Co. And Mr. Jamil Al Ali, Manager, Fleet Engineering Group, Kuwait Oil Tanker Co. (KOTC). Awards were presented to Award Winners by Mr Sohan Roy - President, International Maritime Club and Founder, Chairman of Aries Group of Companies.
