Decrease in the Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine during, August,08/2018

The overall IPI in Palestine reached 102.12 during August 2018 with a decrease of 2.35% compared to July 2018 (Base Month December 2015 = 100). IPI for August 2018 decreased due to the decrease in the activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation by 22.69% which had a share of 0.78% of the total industry, the activities of Mining and Quarrying by 11.54% which had a share of 4.06% of the total industry, and the activities of Manufacturing Industry by 2.92% which had a share of 83.19% of the total industry, while the activities of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply increasedby 17.96% which had a share of 11.98% of the total industry.
