MAHE Dubai Hosts Future-Ready Career Expo

As the global job market continues to evolve rapidly, universities are increasingly strengthening partnerships with industry to equip students with future-ready skills. In this context, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Dubai successfully hosted Career Expo 2026, bringing together leading employers, industry professionals, and students in a dynamic platform designed to enhance employability and bridge the gap between academic learning and workforce expectations.

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Dubai Campus hosted Career Expo 2026 over two days, reinforcing the university’s commitment to strengthening collaboration between academia and industry while preparing students and graduates for the future of work.

The event featured participation from more than 70 companies representing diverse sectors including business management, finance, engineering, information technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, architecture, media, healthcare, logistics, and biotechnology. The strong industry presence reflected growing employer demand for graduates who combine technical expertise with adaptable professional skills.

According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025, nearly 40% of workers’ core skills are expected to change by 2030, with employers increasingly prioritising analytical thinking, technological literacy, communication skills, adaptability, and continuous learning. Against this backdrop, initiatives such as MAHE Dubai’s Career Expo play an important role in helping students align academic learning with evolving industry requirements.

The expo recorded 793 student pre-registrations, with approximately 704 student participations across the two-day event. Students engaged directly with recruiters through networking opportunities, career discussions, and on-site interviews across multiple disciplines. A total of 1,200 interviews were conducted during the event, with strong participation from students representing the School of Business and the School of Engineering and Information Technology.
