How the Global South Can Lead in AI

In an era where artificial intelligence (AI) promises to reshape economies and societies, a compelling report challenges the gloom often surrounding AI in developing regions.
Titled “Constraint to Capability Flipping the Narrative on AI in the Global South”, this January 2025 SAS publication argues that countries in Africa, Latin America, and parts of Asia—known as the Global South—are not doomed to lag behind.
