Nash fintechX selected for the EuraTechnologies incubation program
France’s leading incubator, Lille-based EuraTechnologies, is ranked amongst the top 3 accelerator programs in Europe
Nash fintechX, an upcoming software development company headquartered in Luxembourg, has been selected for the incubation program by EuraTechnologies for their software, DCarbonX. DCarbonX provides a blockchain-based carbon market for trading of carbon credits. DCarbonX stores the carbon credit certificates on the blockchain as NFTs and facilitates sale in a primary and secondary market, while recording all sales on the blockchain including the ownership history. This prevents the problem of carbon certificate duplication and greenwashing, where the latter has now entered a $22 trillion debt market.
The company developed and tested the MVP of DCarbonX on the testnet of Solana blockchain and is now working to develop a solution on Algorand for comparative analysis, to bring forward a blockchain-based carbon market to the consumers, that is not just cost-effective but also reliable in terms of availability.
EuraTechnologies is a Lille-based incubator that was founded in 2009 and is one of Europe’s oldest technology campuses. It is also one of the largest startup and innovation center in Europe. Lille is the hub to Europe, being located in the heart of three economic capitals, being an hour from Paris, London and Brussels. Nash fintechX is ranked amongst the leading 100 ESG companies in the world. It was also amongst the top 11 semi-finalists in the Net Zero Challenge by the RFI Foundation and HSBC. The company was ranked fourth in a pitching contest by Unicorn Pitches in Luxembourg, by judges from Canada, Luxembourg, Italy, Silicon Valley, UAE, Germany and Singapore among other countries. The company is also featured on ADGM Digital Labs. The team at Nash fintechX comprises of computer scientists and engineers, backed by an advisory panel with expertise in finance, sustainability, and technology. The company is headed by, Nida Khan, who holds a doctorate in computer science, where her research project on the use of blockchain in finance was accorded the prestigious FNR grant by the government of Luxembourg for innovative, industrial projects.
