Electric Vehicles UAE successfully launched

Advanced Conferences & Meetings (ACM) proudly launched Electric Vehicles UAE on Tuesday at Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf. This event has established itself as the Emirate mobility industry meeting place for key government officials and regulators, EV researchers and industry experts, and EV technology providers.
The conference started with the opening remarks of the chairman Akin Adamson from TRL Middle East followed by many exciting presentations among which we can mention: “Introduction to the Dubai Green Mobility Initiative” by Faisal Rashid from Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, “Overview of Dubai Municipality plans to achieve the Green Mobility objectives ” by Eng. Gassim Mohammed Mustafa from Dubai Municipality, “Ensuring an effective implementation of EVs in the UAE” by Samer Alawiye from GreenParking, “EVs global standards to be implemented in the UAE” by Edoardo Gianotti from United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), “Use of EV in the largest EVs market in the world, Norway” by Sture Portvik from City of Oslo, Norway and many more… The conference provided as well informative panel discussions “How will electric cars change the shape of our cities?” and “Safety and testing technologies and standards” with the presence of Eng. Muammar Khaled Al Katheeri from Dubai Silicon Oasis and monitored by Akin Adamson from TRL Middle East.
The first day at Electric Vehicles UAE conference created the perfect platform for the attendees to build relations, exchange ideas and seize business opportunities throughout the ACMi+ interface that allowed for many networking breaks which created a dynamic, efficient and relevant learning environment.
